Welcome to TaipeiMetal.com, your one-stop source for information on the burgeoning metal scene in Taiwan. Here you will be able to find information in both English and Chinese about Taiwanese metal bands, metal shows in Taiwan, and venues around Taiwan that book metal acts. We also host a bi-lingual forum in which users can post concert reviews, metal news, events, raves and rants, or anything they wish pertaining to metal music in Taiwan and around the world in English or Chinese. Our goal is to promote the Taiwanese metal scene both domestically and internationally, and increase awareness of the many talented metal heads who call Taiwan home.

Joe has been active in the Taipei metal scene for the past four years as the vocalist for the death metal band Revilement and a show promoter for Taiwanese and overseas acts. He is also an editor and freelance music journalist for Music In magazine in Taiwan, and has been privileged to interview some of the biggest names in underground metal today. Joe's favorite bands include: Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, Immolation, Incantation, Six Feet Under, Mayhem, Toxic Holocaust, Slayer, Exodus, Dying Fetus, Mastodon, Obscura, Suffocation, Morbid Angel and many more.
